The islands cover an area of 193 square miles, with Grand Turk measuring 7 square miles and Providenciales being 37.5 square miles. WHAT TO WEAR – Cool, casual, comfortable leisurewear is common everywhere. A hat and cover-up for extra protection is advisable. Swimwear worn other than poolside or at the beach is not acceptable. It is a rare occasion to need a light sweater at night and just a few restaurants require proper attire.
