About Barbados
Barbados is the most easterly of all the Caribbean islands. This 166-square mile island— 21 miles long and 14 miles wide — is divided into 11 parishes and is quite flat, the highest point being Mount Hillaby at 1,116 ft above sea level.
Relatively flat, it is one of the few coral-capped islands in the region. The west and south coasts offer calm Caribbean seas and endless beaches. The eastern coast features rugged cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. Barbados is a beautiful location for Caribbean weddings.
